Kate O'Dell Luster Kate O'Dell Luster, age 88, passed away Sunday morning, July 18, 2010, at her son's residence. Kate was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County and was born March 5, 1922, to the late G.A. and Stella Woods O'Dell. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Bluff City and a retired employee of ITT North. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nina Rhinehardt; and her brother, Clyde O'Dell and sister-in-law, Alma O'Dell. Kate is survived by her son, Ronnie Luster and wife, Angie, of Bluff City; and grandchildren, Nikki and Josh Luster; her brother, Earl O'Dell and wife Dorothy; and her brother-in-law, J. L. Rhinehardt, all of Bluff City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were all dear to her. The funeral service will be conducted 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 20. 2010, at Tetrick Funeral Home Bluff City Chapel with Mr. Tim Carlson, minister, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 8 p.m. prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home and other time at the son's residence. The graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Poplar Ridge Christian Church Cemetery, Piney Flats. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Rhinehardt, Jared Rhinehardt, Jimmy Rhinehardt, Rodney O'Dell, Barry O'Dell and Danny Buchanan. Minister, pallbearers, family and friends are requested to meet at funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
