Leonard Lee Altizer CEDAR BLUFF, Va. Leonard Lee Altizer, age 48, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at his home. He was born in Richlands, Va., and was the son of Ruby Barnett Altizer of North Tazewell, Va., and the late Wilburn "Red" Altizer. He was an employee of Golden Age Retirement Home in Claypool Hill, Va., and had lived most of his life in the Tazewell County area. Survivors, in addition to his mother, are: one son, Andrew Altizer of Cedar Bluff; four sisters, Zana Asbury and husband, Irland of Cedar Bluff, Molly Sparks and husband, Stanley of Cedar Bluff, Leona Altizer Jackson of North Tazewell, Tina Altizer of Tip Top, Va.; two brothers, Wade Altizer and wife, Bonnie of Clean Field, Utah, Wayne Altizer and wife, Mary Ann of Gneys Lake, Ill.; former wife, Donna Shortridge Altizer; one niece; six nephews; and a host of friends at Golden Age Retirement Home and Mayfair House Memorial services for Leonard Lee Altizer will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010, at the Hurst-Scott Chapel in Richlands, Va., with the Rev.
