Leonard Wayne Taylor SALTVILLE, Va. Leonard Wayne Taylor, age 54, passed away on June 11, 2010, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Thelma Whitely Taylor; his grandparents, George and Elizabeth Whitely and William and Mattie Taylor; and brother, George Franklin Taylor. He was previously employed by American Furniture for over 25 years and Berry's Home Center. Leonard was a member of the Smyth County Moose Lodge. Survivors include his sister, Kathleen Rhea and husband, Roger, of Saltville, Va., several aunts, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Leonard W. Taylor will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010, at the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Surber officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. Monday prior to the services. Burial will follow in the Elizabeth Cemetery. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Alvarado and the Saltville Medical Center and Dr. Cox. Online condolences may be sent to drhendersonfuneralhome.com D.R.
