LLOYD EARL HARRINGTON Sr.

Lloyd Earl Harrington Sr. DAMASCUS, Va. Mr. Lloyd Earl Harrington Sr., age 77, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at his home. He was born on July 23, 1932, in Salem, N.J., a son of the late Jackson Emerson Harrington Sr. and Helen Harbeson Harrington. Mr. Harrington had been a resident of Washington County, Va., for the past 17 years and was a member of the Konnarock Seventh-day Adventist Church in Konnarock, Va. He was also a member of the Williamstown Lodge No. 166 F&AM of Williamstown, N.J., and served seven years in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl Marie Harrington. He is survived by his wife, Mae Roop Harrington of Damascus; two daughters, Kathy Sue Murphy of Franklinville, N.J., and Jill Marie Huenke of Monroeville, N.J.; two sons, Jackson Emerson Harrington III of Auburn, N.J., and Lloyd Earl Harrington Jr. of Encampment, Wyo.; one stepdaughter, Janice E. Fuller of Damascus; four step-sons, Donley Huggins of McDonald, Tenn., David Huggins of Whitetop, Va., Jimmy Huggins of Meadowview and Quinten Huggins of Friendship, Va.; one brother, David W. Harrington and wife Floretta of Tuscon, Ariz.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Services for Mr. Lloyd Harrington Sr. will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010, in the Konnarock Seventh-day Adventist Church, 590 Konnarock Road., Damascus, VA 24236. Pastor James Cox and Pastor David Tripp will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be Friday, July 23, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the military cemetery in Salem County, N.J., with full military honors. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staffs of Johnston Memorial Hospital, Bristol Regional Medical Center, and Hospice of Southwest Virginia.
