Lola Mae Lowe RICHLANDS, Va. Lola Mae Lowe, age 74, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Clinch Valley Medical Center at Richlands. Born March 30, 1935, in Red Ash, Va., she was the daughter of Gracie Waneda Hess Meade of Lake Park, Va., and the late Glen Robert Meade. She was a member of the Richlands Tabernacle. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Rob" Lowe; and one son, Robert Edward Lowe. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Sammy Lowe and wife Carol of Pinehurst, N.C., and Bobby Lowe and wife Loretta of Richlands; two sisters, Virginia Gillespie and husb and Dick of Richlands and Carol "Beautie" Durham and husband James of Nebo, Ky.; two grandchildren, Kusondra Lowe and fianc‚, Ronald Lester and Kevin Lowe and wife Christy; two great-grandchildren, Kevin Lee Lowe Jr. and Robert Gregory Lowe; several nieces and nephews; and special canine companion, Precious. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Va., with Rev. Ralph Horton and Rev. Bob Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Pallbearers will be Billy Gillespie, Mark Lester, Dale Keene, Brian McGraw, Austin Gillespie, Carl White, Steven Vance and Jack Mullins. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. T. Patel, Dr. Pallai, 2nd Floor nurses, Dr. Jung, Helping Hands employees and Lena Stinson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff. .
