Lola Naomi Cole Wymer WYTHEVILLE, Va. Lola Naomi Cole Wymer, age 91, formerly of Smyth County, Va., widow of F. Sidney Wymer, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, in Wythe County Community Hospital. She was born in Appomattox, Va., to the late Earl and Ollie Belle Thompson Cole. She was a member of the Grosses Creek Baptist Church and retired from Harwood Manufacturing Company. She is survived by one daughter, Bobby Jean Wymer of Wytheville; one sister, Mary Mae Pickle of Natural Bridge, Va.; one sister-in-law, Josephine Davidson of Marion, Va.; one brother-in-law, Walter Wymer of Pearisburg, Va.; her special little friend and companion, Christy; special friend and neighbor, Della Riggle; and many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Minister William A. Dixon and Chaplain Susan Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Va. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 until 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the Wymer Family.
