Lorretta Ann Morrell Cox BRISTOL, Tenn. Lorretta Ann Morrell Cox, age 75, passed away on May 2, 2010, at her home. She was born Dec. 10, 1934, in Bristol Virginia, a daughter of the late Paul and Lucille Warren. She was retired from Morrell Nissan and attended Central Presbyterian Church. Ann had a love for life and animals and for her many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.M. Morrell; and son, Mitchell Morrell. She is survived by: husband, Claude Cox of Bristol Tennessee; sons, Don Morrell and wife, Donna of Bristol Tennessee, Keith Morrell and wife, Merlita of Blountville, Tenn., Scott Morrell and wife, Debi of Jonesborough, Tenn.; grandson, Jacob Morrell; granddaughter, Rachel Ann Hunter and husband Brad; great- granddaughters, Makala and Sara Foust of Lithia Springs, Ga.; sisters, Penny Hawk of Blountville, Betty Watson and husband Joe of Bristol Virginia; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Cox will be held 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Hill officiating. The burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Shipley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Morrell, Kenny Morrell, Danny Morrell, Joe Watson, Joey Watson, Jeffrey Booher, Todd and Jason Hawk.
