Maebell Gray LEBANON, Va. Mrs. Maebell Gray, age 66, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 18, 1943, in Washington County, Va., a daughter of Clarence Melvin Martin and Lucille Mary Nunley Martin. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of the Chestnut Grove Community Church. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her father, Clarence M. Martin; one sister, Edith Houston; and one brother, Joe Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Gray of Lebanon; mother, Lucille Martin of the Hidden Valley section of Washington County, Va.; two daughters, Linda K. Street and husband John of Suffolk, Va., and Pamela J. Kegley and husband Guy of Bristol Virginia; one stepdaughter, Lisa Chaffin and husband Jimmy of Lebanon; three sons, James E. Gilbert Jr. and wife Carey of the Hidden Valley section of Washington County, Va., Eddie L. Winkler and wife Joan of Oklahoma City, Okla., Joey A. Gilbert and girlfriend Angel of Lebanon; two stepsons, Donald L. Gray Jr. and wife Tammy of Castlewood, Va., and David L. Gray and wife Michelle of Elizabethton, Tenn.; three brothers, James T. Martin of the Rich Valley section of Washington County, Va., Willis Martin of the Hidden Valley section of Washington County, Va., and William Galliher of Lebanon; one sister, Joyce Brown of Bristol Tennessee; 15 grandchildren; one great- grandchild; and several loving nieces and nephews. She has also left behind a very special and caring friend, Connie Harless. Funeral services for Mrs. Maebell Gray will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, at the Chestnut Grove Community Church in the Hidden Valley section of Washington County, Va., with Rev. Olen Cassell and Rev. Bill Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Tony Dotson, Eddie Wilson, Joseph Collins, Adam Burke, Cory Chafin, Derek Sweet and Robbie Dale. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Nunley, Kenneth Nunley, Ed Wilson and the members of the Chestnut Grove Community Church.
