Martha Sue Kell MARION, Va. Martha Sue Kell, age 79, passed away on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Va. She was born in Smyth County, Va., to the late Willam Blaine Pierce and Sarah Lucille Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and a brother, Peggy Leonard, Edith Null, Helen Hutton, Wilma Myers, Joan Pierce, Sandra Pierce and William Blaine Pierce Jr. Mrs. Kell was a loving wife mother grandmother and a nana to many children. She is survived by: husband, Jack Kell, Marion, Va.; two sons, Gary Kell and wife Melissa, Marion, Va., Donnie Kell and wife Darlene, Marion, Va.; one daughter, Margret Bridgeman, Marion Va.; four step-daughters, Norma Moses, Marion, Va., Rosemarie Osborne, Marion, Wanda Crewey, Marion, Barbara Sword, Marion; four sisters, Betty Cline, Marion, Carol Hough, Marion, Brenda Griffey, Marion, Margaret Wyatt, Marion; seven grandchildren, Angela Cassell, Susan Castameda, Dean Kell Timothy Kell, Aaron Kell, Hannah Kell, Dillon Kell; four great-grandchildren, Guillermo Cortes, Samuel Cassell, Zachery Kell, Zoey Kell; several step-grandchildren; step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff at Francis Marion Manor and Smyth County Community Hospital for the care given to Mrs. Kell. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at Round Hill Cemetery with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Arthritis Foundation P.O. Box 7669, Atlanta, GA 30357-0669. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley's Funeral Home is serving the Kell family.
