Minnie Ruth Dennedy Castle ST. PAUL, Va. Minnie Ruth Kennedy Castle, 71, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at the home. She was born in Dickenson County, Va.; daughter of the late Walter and Mable Carty Kennedy. She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Wayne Cochran. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Pruitt and husband, Michael of Lebanon, Va., and Tabatha Sue Harlow and husband, Milton of Blountville, Tenn.; four sons, Jimmy Lynn Riggs and wife, Katie of St. Paul, Va., Jerry Glenn Riggs and fianc‚e, Loretta Haywood of St. Paul, Michael Lynn Cochran and wife, Tina of Castlewood, Va., and Jackie Dwayne Cochran of North Carolina; special aunt and best friend, Thelma Bush of St. Paul, 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Minnie Ruth Kennedy Castle will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Va., with Rev. Lyons Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Campground Cemetery, Bristol Virginia. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Va. The family wants to give special thanks to Russell County Hospice, Jackie, and Misty.
