Natalie Jo Dean Casey DAMASCUS, Va. Natalie Jo Dean Casey, age 49, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at John ston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. She was born in Kingsport, Tenn., and had lived in Maryland and later in Manassas, Va., for 19 years prior to moving to Damascus in 1999. She was the daughter of Joan Rutledge Dean of Damascus, and Harold D. Dean Sr. of Kingsport. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bristol Virginia. She was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Dean Jr. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her husband, Herbert A. Casey of Damascus; one sister, Teresa A. Dean of Damascus; one brother, James C. Dean and his wife, Donna, of Manassas; a sister-in-law, Anna Dean of Damascus; four nephews, Joshua Dean and his wife, Becky, Zachary Dean, Caleb Dean, and Cody Dean; two nieces, Haven Dean and Stephanie Dean; two great-nieces, Adrienne Dean and Bailey Dean; and four adored pets, Nicky, Max, Megan, and Gypsy; many friends also survive. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, in the Riverview Chapel at Garrett Funeral Home with Mr. Richard Macbeth officiating. Pallbearers will be Joshua Dean, Zachary Dean, Caleb Dean, Tracy Evitts, Nathan Farmer, and Shane Lowe. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at Garrett Funeral Home.
