Odessa Mae Horton Brewer

Odessa Mae Horton Brewer TROUTDALE, Va. Odessa Mae Horton Brewer, age 87, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at the Smyth County Community Hospital. She was born in Carroll County, Va., to the late John and Zelda Martin Horton and was preceded in death by her husband, Cone Brewer; a sister, Mary Horton Busic; and a brother, Ray Horton. Survivors include: two sons, Ray Brewer and wife Ellen, Troutdale, Roy Brewer and wife Patricia, Volney; one sister, Elsie Williams, Roanoke; grandchildren, Doug Brewer, Chad Brewer, Brandon Brewer, Ben Brewer, John Brewer, Michael Brewer, Miranda Brewer; great-grandchildren, Kayla Brewer, Jacob Brewer, Kelsey Brewer; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Troutdale Cemetery with Pastor Tim Boyette officiating. Family and friends are ask to meet at the cemetery.
