Just Call On Me

I can’t comprehend just how sad you must feel
For the loss of someone you love.
This sorrowful time must still feel unreal
And you’re looking for strength from above.

I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease,
That your spirit will gain strength again,
And I pray that your faith will create inner peace
And that God will send blessings--Amen.

Till then, if you need me to lighten your load,
I’m waiting to come to your aid.
Just call on me, and I’ll walk down that road,
Until the dark times start to fade.

Deep condolences,

Marcus Davis

HEAVEN CALLED

Heaven’s called you many times,
But those were calls you didn’t want to hear,
So, it left it’s messages,
And you tried to persevere.
Until the last time heaven called,
And you answered the phone.
The Lord told you,
“Grandpa, it’s time to come home.”
So you left us here
to drown in our tears
To go to a place
where you know no fears.
You may not be here in body,
But in soul, we’ll never part,
For the memories we’ve made
Will never leave my heart.
The memories of you taking my food
And saying it was yours.
You telling crazy stories,
And making up crazy chores.
The smile on your face
Even when you were in pain.
And the blessing you gave us,
I can’t even begin to explain.
The Angel, once on earth,
Now returns home,
Because heaven called,
And you answered the phone.

You Was Always My Grandpa
You Will Be Sadly Missed
Love Always
