Pansy Marie Martin WYTHEVILLE, Va. Pansy Marie Martin, age 89, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Lee & Cecilia Whitaker Short. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Martin; and her first husband, Howard Owens; grandson, Brian Keene. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Homer Bandy, of Tazewell, Rachel and Robert Harris, of Frazeyburg, Ohio, Linda Meadows, of Sugar Grove, Judy Taylor, of Sarasota, Fla., Cathy Martin, of Roanoke; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Wanda Martin, of Seymour, Tenn., Jeff and Loretta Martin, of Ashland, Ohio, Charles and Jane Martin, of Abingdon; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral service will be Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Magers. Family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home Thursday from 5 p.m. until service time. Graveside service will be Friday 2 p.m. at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Cedar Bluff, Va. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
