Richard Eugene Chittum BRISTOL, Tenn. Richard Eugene Chittum age 82, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a retired buyer with Carrier Corporation in LaPuente for over 25 years. Mr. Chittum was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Marie Chittum; daughters, Linda Diane Champagne, Jerolyn Ann Chittum, Faith Lynn Dighero and husband, Oscar; son, Donald Lee Chittum and wife, Lorey; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herb Peak officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. The arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home and Cremations Services.
