Ricky D. White CEDAR BLUFF, Va. Ricky D. White, age 50, formerly of West Columbia, S.C., passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at a Tazewell, Va., hospital. Born Aug. 24, 1959, in Richlands, Va., he was the son of Willard White of Cedar Bluff and Wanda White of Cleveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one sister, Alisha White; one brother, Willard White Jr.; paternal grandparents, Vince and Ida Belli White; maternal grandparents, Nathan Sinter and Grace Sinter; one uncle, Earnest White; and one aunt, Ruby Berry. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step- mother, Brenda Faye White of Cedar Bluff; one sister, Lisa Vance of Cedar Bluff; one aunt, Charlotte Keene of Columbia; one uncle, Hullin White and wife Lorraine of Oakwood, Va.; three nieces, Alanea Sarah-Kaye Vance, Madison Brendale-Lee Vance and Phoenix Jerusalem-Lou Vance; and one nephew, Xander Christian-Douglas Vance. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff with Rev. Danny Houchins officiating. Burial will follow in the White-Gilbert Cemetery at Pea Patch, Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff.
