Robert Lee Wampler Robert Lee Wampler, age 68, of Bristol Nursing Home passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, following an extended illness. A native of Bristol Tennessee, he was a son of the late Malcolm Edward and Millie E. Vest Wampler. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Wampler was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Sweeney; and one son, Robert Wampler. Survivors include four daughters, Teresa J. Steel of Bristol Virginia, Debbie Wilson and husband Greg of Bluff City, Lou Ann Wampler and Joan Williams, both Bristol Virginia; three sons, Malcolm David Wampler and wife Kathy, Tony Dale Wampler and wife Robin and Randy Lee Wampler, all of Bristol Tennessee; three brothers, Jimmy Wampler and wife Lou, Kenny Wampler and wife Brenda and Gary Wampler and wife Pat; and three sisters, Billy Jean Simcox and husband Ronnie, Joyce Cunningham and husband Bill and Connie Lane and husband Darnell; several grandchildren and great- grandchildren also survive. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Tetrick Funeral Home Bluff City Chapel, with Rev. Rex Hill officiating. Private disposition will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 12 1 p.m. prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home and anytime at the home of a daughter, 5050 Bluff City Highway, Lot No. 7.
