Roy Edward Musick RADFORD, Va. Roy Edward Musick, 74, passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at his home in Snowville. He was retired from RAAP with over 26 years of service but his true occupation was farming and he was a U. S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Kermet and Carrie Belle Taylor Musick; and a brother, Carl Raymond Musick. Survivors include his wife, Julia B. Musick of Snowville; son and daughter-in-law, David E. and Crystal Musick of Snowville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Regena and Romney Smith of Newport and Karen and Lannon Cox of Snowville; eight grandchildren, Amanda Osborne, Brandon Musick, Zachary Cox, Keri Musick, Seth Cox, Sarah Smith, Mariah Cox and Livia Cox; great-grandson, Paul Ervin Osborne IV; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Chris and Larry Smith of Hahira, Ga., Betty and Jim Price of New York, and Grace and Bob Shockley of Bluefield, W.Va. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Neil Wood officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin where members of V. F. W. Post No. 776 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Carilion Hospice, 707 Randolph St., Suite 251, Radford, VA 24141.
