Shirley H. Toohey Funeral services for Shirley H. Toohey, 76, who passed away on Dec. 13, 2009, will be held at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, Va. Family will receive visitors and friends on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, from 6-8 p.m., with funeral services following visitation in the Funeral Home Chapel. Shirley was preceded in death by husband, Harry G. Toohey; daughter, Susan L. Toohey; parents, Patton and Louise Hillman; sisters, Gaye Damron, Brenda Sue McConnell and Debbie Hillman. Survivors include son, Randy and Brenda Toohey, Wise, Va.; daughter, Dee-Dee Toohey, Coeburn, Va.; brothers, Pete Hillman, Fort Worth, Texas, Dennis Hillman, Wise; and sister, Karen Markham, Coeburn; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Coeburn on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009.

Dearest Brandon Toohey, Joshua,Chasity,and myself feel so sorrowful for we know how much your Mammaw meant to you. Try to reach out to your family that are hurting as well, pick up a hand to hold. Small gestures of love can last a long time. We will be by to see you and know that you have been in our hearts and we are very worried for you. Just cry when you feel like it honey, your mammaw loved you so much and that will never be doubted. You were a good boy to her and made her smile. Our sympathies to the rest of your family are, also, extended, eventhough we didn't know them as well as we know you.
