Thomas "Bob" Elliott Jr. MARION, Va Thomas "Bob" Elliott Jr., age 73, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at his home. He was born May 6, 1937, in Smyth County to the late Thomas and Lois Elliott, and was a retired corrections officer. Bob is survived by his wife, Donna Farmer Elliott of Marion, Va.; one daughter, Kim Reasoner and husband, Scott of Greenwood Village, Colo.; two sons, Steve Elliott of Knoxville, Tenn., and Chris Elliott of Roswell, Ga.; two step-daughters, Amanda Terry and husband, Ricky of Chilhowie, Va., and Jessica Heath of Kingsport, Tenn.; one stepson, Joshua Heath of Marion; and eight step-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery in Chilhowie. Family will receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
