Thomas Tate Goodman SPRINGFIELD, Va. Thomas Tate Goodman, born Oct. 26, 1957, age 52, died Oct. 9, 2010, at his home, following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Tate Goodman; first wife, Jean Willis Goodman; grandparents, Charlie and Mildred Surber Burkett of Saltville, Va., and Clinton and Gladys Littrell Goodman of Burkes Garden, Va. He is survived by his wife, Laura Sellars Goodman of Springfield; son, Christopher Goodman of Annandale, Va.; mother, Maxzine Burkett Goodman Euzent Benson, and step-father, Chet Benson of Blountville, Tenn.; brother, Keith (wife Cyndy) Goodman of Rockville, Md. He is also survived by nieces, Courtney and Allison Goodman; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at the Ridgedale Methodist Church with Rev. Ernest Yeatts officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgedale Cemetery.
