Victoria Beverly WISE, Va. Victoria Beverly, 85, loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all who knew her, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at the Heritage Hall Health Care in Wise. She served on the Board of Directors of Stop N Go Markets. Inc. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen "Tood" Beverly; parents, William Riley and Dora Belle Perry; two brothers, Roy Perry and Lonnie Perry; six sisters, Tempa Cox, Hattie Potter, Edna Nina Riley, Clarie Bailey, Cora Mae Woods and Yearie Thompson. Surviving are a son, Larry Glen Beverly and wife Judy of Wise.; a grandson, Adam Sturgill of Wise; a special niece, Velma Jean Bullion of Norton, Va.; four special nephews, Darrell Freeman, Donald Potter, Donavon Potter, all of Wise, and Eddie Freeman of Cincinnati; a special sister-in-law, June Perry of Norton; a special friend, Bobbi Meade of Wise; several other nieces, nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Victoria Beverly will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise with Pastor Cliff Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. till time of services at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, in the Wise Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go to the cemetery in procession. The family would like to give a very special thank you to the Heritage Hall in Wise. Sturgill Funeral Home, 1621 Norton Road, SW, Wise, VA 24293, is in charge of arrangements.
