Virginia Kimberling DAMASCUS, Va. The family of Virginia Kimberling will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, and also from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Garrett Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Marion, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Damascus Library Building Fund, P.O. Box 280, Damascus, VA 24236. Online condolences may be sent to the family and viewed by visiting www.garrettfuneralhome.com Virginia Kimberling passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at her residence. Mrs. Kimberling and her family are in the care of Garrett Funeral Home, 203 N. Shady Ave., Damascus, VA 24236, Phone No. 276-475-3631.

I have yet to meet a more hard-working, kind, and selfless woman than Mrs. Kimberling. Her steadfast character and gentle nature were quite remarkable, never wavering regardless the diffuculties borne.
