Virginia Lady

Virginia Kent Lady BLUFF CITY, Tenn. Virginia Kent Lady, age 78, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 5, 2010, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was a life long resident of this area and daughter of the late William and Macy Worley Kent. She was a former Co-owner of Lady and Son Equipment Co., and was also a cherished mother and grandmother and a member of Poplar Ridge Christian Church, where she was an active member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and she was loved by all. Mrs. Lady is survived by one daughter, Linda Lady Jones and husband, Ron, of Blountville, Tenn.; and one son, Steve Lady and wife Denise, of Bluff City, Tenn. Survived are three grandchildren, Brittany Henson, Makenzee and Makayla Lady. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2010, at Poplar Ridge Christian Church in Piney Flats, Tenn. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. with Ministers, Roland Whittemore, Brad Perry, John Shirey and Evan Wolfe officiating. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Utsman, Larry Utsman, Johnny Cross, Phil Cross, Stan Lady, Ken O'Dell and John Mullins. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Buckles and Fellowship of Poplar Ridge Christian Church. Graveside services will be 11 a.m Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Poplar Ridge Cemetery in Piney Flats, Tenn.
