Virginia Aileen Hobbs Leonard BRISTOL, Tenn. Virginia Aileen Hobbs Leonard, age 82, passed away on Dec. 12, 2009, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born May 30, 1927, to the late Millard Ray Hobbs and Bessie Clark Hobbs. She had lived in the Bristol area for most of her life and was retired from Parks Belk. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas G. "Tom"Leonard Sr.; and two brothers, Wayne and Sam Hobbs; and sister, Polly Sue Morgan. Survivors: son, Thomas G. Leonard Jr. and wife Linda; granddaughter, Sherri Harr and husband Spencer; grandson, Thomas Bradley Leonard; great-grandson, Chase Harr; brother, Jerry Hobbs and wife Eva; sisters, June Miller and husband Jimmy, Minnie Hobbs; half-brother, J.C. Wilson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
