Vivian Carol Ratliff White BRISTOL, Va. Vivian Carol Ratliff White, 55, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center after a brief stay. She was born on Nov. 9, 1955, in Grundy, Va., to the late Woodrow and Myrtle Jackson Ratliff. She was also preceded in death by one niece, Michelle O'Dell. She attended First Christian Church and was a member of West Hills Christian Church. Vivian was a devoted mother, grandmother and a loving sister. Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Mort and husband, Jonathan; two granddaughters, Courtney White and Samantha Mayes; one grandson, Noah Mort, all of Bristol Virginia; one sister, Deborah O'Dell and husband, Gary of Bristol Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff that cared for Vivian at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at Glenwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Herbert Peak, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary O'Dell, Caspen O'Dell, Tracy O'Dell, Jerry Jackson, Bascom Jackson and William Lovett. The family will receive friends from 1 2 p.m. Friday at Glenwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. E-mail condolences may be sent to the family at [email protected] Akard Funeral Home, 1912 W.
