Vivian Beatrice Hale Worley BRISTOL, Tenn. Vivian Beatrice Jones Hale Worley, age 92, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, in Wellmont Hospice House. She was a lifelong resident of Bristol. Although she was a housewife, she was widowed early in life and became the owner and operator of Vivian's Beauty Shop until her retirement. She was a member and attended Calvary Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde L. and Ethel Sams Jones; her first husband and the father of her children, William Lewis Hale; a special friend, R. J. Wallace; two sisters, Edna Arnold and Thelma Carrier; and a brother, Harold L. Jones. Survivors include two sons, Lewis Hale and wife Kerry and Ronnie Hale and wife Kathy, all of Bristol Tennessee; two grandchildren, Tim Hale and Melanie Motley; three great-grandchildren, David Motley, Casey Redman and Taylor Redman; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Trunnell and Dr. Mike Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Hale, Jeff Baker, Mike Hale, Charlie Arnold, Mark Jones and David Motley. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Akard Funeral Home.
