William "Bill" Morrell

William "Bill" Morrell BLUFF CITY, Tenn. William "Bill" Morrell, age 84, passed away on Oct. 15, 2010, at Bristol Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Walter and Ada Nelson Morrell and was a lifelong resident of Bluff City. Bill was employed by the State of Tennessee Highway Department and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Earl Morrell, Howard Morrell, and Tom Slack; and sisters, Ruby Dillow, Virginia Goodman, and Norma Fay Morrell. Survivors include wife, Cordella Burrell Morrell; daughter, Judith Morrell; son, Robert Charles Morrell; sisters, Mary Lee Coleman, Fairy Crumley, Nell Reed, Mable Louise Maney, Mona Turner, and Rosie Foster; and brothers, Paul Morrell and Claude Morrell. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Zimmerman officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home.
