Willie Jo Scott Willie Jo Scott, 85, of Scott Drive in Breitung Township, died on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on Jan. 27, 1925, in Bristol Virginia, daughter of the late Clifton and Ida (Davenport) Moore. She attended school, and graduated from Virginia High School in Bristol. Jo married James Scott on March 23, 1948, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2002. She liked gardening, knitting, crocheting, and watching movies. More than anything she loved spending time with family. Jo was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy and Martin Scott; four sisters, Maggie, Leta, Pauline, Elizabeth; and four brothers, Vernon, Cecil, James, and Houston. Jo is survived by five daughters, Kathy Scott of Arlington, Va., Carol Scott of Iron Mountain, and Ida, Amy and June Scott all of Kingsford; two sons, Gregory Scott of Iron Mountain and Donald (Pam) Scott of Iron Mountain; eight grandchildren, Brian and Jeff Scott, Alan and David Scott, Joseph and James Scott, Jeremie Maurina, and Daniel Scott-Mattson; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Scott and Joslynn Collick. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Willie Jo Scott online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com. The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the arrangements.
