Willis Eugene "Gene" Dinsmore SALTVILLE, Va. Willis Eugene "Gene" Dinsmore, went to be with his Lord on Monday July 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Eugene Dinsmore. Gene was one of 21 children and was loved and cherished by everyone that knew him. Gene was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and papaw. He is survived by his estranged wife, Carmen Dinsmore of Stanley, N.C.; daughters, Brenda Matott and husband Brandon Dunnavant of Richmond, Va., Ashley Greer of Stanley, Danielle Compton and husband Lee of Meadowview, Va.; special sons, Jeff Dinsmore, wife Kay and family of Saltville, Allen Dinsmore, wife Tammy and family of Saltville; granddaughter, Keely; brothers and sisters, Curtis Dinsmore of Bristol Tennessee, Wayne Dinsmore of Saltville, Lois Doane of Saltville, June Garnett of Saltville, Jean Dinsmore, Cheryl Pizzino, Donnie Dinsmore, Terry Brown, all of Richmond; numerous nieces and nephews. At his request, Gene will be cremated and a life celebration will follow at his son, Allen's, house, 176 South Wood Lane in Saltville, Friday July 9, 2010, at 6 p.m. In lieu of fowers, please send contributions to the Saltville Rescue Squad, P.O.
