RONALD FRANKLIN WINEBARGER

Ronald Franklin Winebarger MARION, Va. Ronald Franklin Winebarger, age 69, passed away on Oct. 29, 2011 at his home. He was born in Smyth County, Va., to the late Clemmons and Ruby Winebarger. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Larry Winebarger and Norma Winebarger Keith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had retired from W-L Construction. He is survived by his wife, Judy Winebarger, of the home; a sister-in-law, Melanie Slagle, of the home; one son, Michael and Marie Winebarger, Marion; one daughter, Rhonda and Greg Gilley, Sugar Grove, Va.; a sister, Sylvia Tolliver, Salem, Va.; his grandchildren, Josh Gilley, Amber Winebarger, Aaron Winebarger, and Miranda Gilley; a special pet, Sparkle; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with the Rev. Jim Lundyand Josh Greenwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery with military honors being rendered by the Francis Marion V.F.W. Post 4667. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home or any time at the home of Michael and Marie Winebarger, 142 S. Holston St., Marion, VA 24354.
