LOUISE CHANEY Obituary

Louise Chaney passed away peacefully at home at the age of 90 on May 24, 2011. She was born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, on December 24, 1920, one of seven children, to Anastasia and Joseph Corba, immigrants from Russia.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Ronald Chaney, her daughters, Sharon Prosser of Seattle and Gayle (Ray) Forsbach of San Antonio, Texas, her brother, William (Marylou) Corba of Novi, Michigan, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Louise was married for twenty years to Roy Prosser of Carnegie, and twenty years to Charlie Breen of Pasco. Louise moved to Pasco from Denver fifty-four years ago to be close to her sister, Helen Cox. It was a move she never regretted.

She worked as a legal secretary for Horrigan & Sullivan before becoming executive secretary to the bank manager at NBof C for many years. Later she worked briefly for Pischel Publishing. She was very active in her church community and made many friends through her church endeavors. For twenty years she was a staunch supporter of Pasco High sports. She loved to ski in the Blue Mountains, and never missed her coffee klatches with her girlfriends at McDonald's.

Louise met Ron at a dance class, and it was kismet for them both. They continued throughout their life together dancing every week. While enjoying retirement, they took several cruises, tours and many car trips. Much happiness came from being together and experiencing the adventure of romantic places and times. Louise was loved by all who met her, and their lives were made better because of her warmth, her kindness, her generosity and her constant smile.

Services will be at Muellers Greenlee Funeral Home 1608 W. Court Street, Pasco on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.

May 31, 2011

On may 24th, a very special lady got her wings, I know this because I shared a part of every week with her for the last 22 years. Not only was she my client but a dear friend. She was everything good, In all those years she always had a smile, and something good to say, I was able to say goodbye the friday before her passing, and still that smile on her very sweet face, I kissed her on the forhead and told her that I loved her. Now God Speed my friend you are always loved and will be missed
