Betty Lou (Cramer) Barnard, 84, passed away January 14, 2011, in Richland, WA. She was born May 29, 1926, in Yakima, WA, to Emmett and Retta (Thomas) Cramer.

Below is the no frills version of her life. We were sternly reminded many times to 'keep it short.'

Betty married Robert G. Barnard on June 1, 1946, in Yakima, WA. Bob passed away December 30, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents and all 9 siblings.

She is survived by her son, Bob Barnard; daughters, Sue and Carol Barnard; and her grandkids, Aeren, Adam, and Amie Huckleberry, and numerous other family and friends.

Betty was a devoted, long-time member of the Richland Baptist Church and loved her Lord, family, and friends. She always enjoyed family gatherings, especially the dinners, and social activities with her friends.

Sincere thanks from her family goes to David and Kim Johnson for the tremendous help they have been to our Mom over the years.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, January 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Einan's Funeral Home, 915 Bypass Highway, Richland, WA. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, January 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Richland Baptist Church, 1632 George Washington Way, Richland, WA.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
