ERIKA CARLOS

Erika Carlos, age 75 passed away peacefully on January 18, 2011, in Richland, WA. Erika was born in Bamberg, Germany, in 1935, and married William C. Carlos in 1961. She came to this country in 1962 with her son Michael. They lived in New York for 9 years before moving to New Jersey until 1986. In 1986 they moved to Richland, WA. During that time they traveled and lived in Saudi Arabia. Bill passed away on March 3, 1998. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent most of her life traveling the world with her husband and being a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by William C. Carlos, her husband; and William Carlos Jr., her son. She is survived and deeply missed by her son Michael Carlos, daughter Kathleen and husband Robert Higgins, son Patrick and wife Martha Mendez-Carlos, grandkids Erika Higgins and fiance Joe Chapin, Nick Higgins, Korina Carlos, William Carlos, Ryan Carlos and Shan Carlos and great-grandchildren Audrianna and Raegyn Chapin.

A memorial service will be held at Einan's Cemetery on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at 10 a.m.
