They lived in Colorado for over 30 years, with tours of duty in Thailand, and several states including Alaska. Trude was an excellent cook and baker. She worked as a cook all her life and only stopped cooking professionally when at 83 years old she had a heart attack. She loved animals and kids; they were always drawn to her. She was strong, independent and demanded that people be polite. She was not afraid to deny service to rude people.

Trude is survived by two sons and their spouse: Thomas Pysto, wife Linda; and William Pysto, wife June. Grandchildren include Nicholas, Benjamin, Hannah and Slade.

Services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on March 15, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. She will be buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland at 1:00 p.m.
