I was getting my haircut at Rickenbacker when i met Chief Mills. He over heard me talking about selection for special forces. He spoke with me briefly about it then wished me good luck. I then saw first hand the work that he has done with the Ohio National Guard. I was very impressed by his manor and proffesionalism. He will never be forgotten. God bless his honor and commitment to our country.

I just heard about Rogers death. I remember Roger from Warwick HS and I was impressed with his leadership and great sense of humor then. Roger obviously Lived Big and made a large impact with those who knew and served with him. Louisa (Hunter) Coons

Sorry to read of the passing of Roger. I remember he and his sister well from school. I'm sure he will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Sad to see another member of Warwick High School passing on.

Thank you Sir for going where few have ever went, doing what most will never do, and being what most will never be. And thank you for all you taught me that not only made me a better Soldier, but a Leader who cared for his Troops. 1SG David E. Zetwo Jr.

Roger was a classmate at West Point, class of '73. Did not know him well but he was almost larger than life. As I remember, he was the only person in our Ranger School class who did not have to get a headshave at the beginning of the course...because he showed up with a nice Mohawk!
Crossed paths years later in the deserts of Utah.
So long, Roger. See you later...
