Justin Kehn Obituary
Born in Troy, he was the son of the late William J. and Josephine Weingart-ner Kehn and the beloved husband to the late Helen Halse Kehn.
Mr. Kehn was a United States Navy veteran proudly serving our country during WWII and later recalled to serve in Korea.
Upon returning home, he was employed with the Norton Company for more than 35 years.
He was a charter member of the 23 Club in Troy and an Honorary member of the Sullivan-Jones VFW Post in Poestenkill. Justin was an avid New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed traveling, vacationing in Cape Cod but most of all spending time with his family.
Survivors include his beloved children, Shirley A. (late Kenneth) Neiss, Justin F. Kehn Jr. (Noreen Barrett), Thomas M. Kehn, Patricia M. Kehn (Joe LaMalfa), Deborah M. (Colin) O'Keefe. He was the proud grandfather of Kimberly Higgins, Jill Stewart, Justine Cavotta, Jody Parent, Chad Kehn, Michael Kehn, Andrew O'Keefe and Meghan O'Keefe. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his siblings, the late William, Joseph, and John Kehn, Elizabeth Mangione, Theresa Reilly, Mary Carey, and Josephine Julien.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy, and at 10 a.m. in St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4–7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Justin's memory may be made to St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Ave., Wynantskill, NY 12198.
