I have thought of Mona Lou and you often thru the years. I was looking up Pat and saw this obituary for her. I am sorry for your loss. I understand your loss having gone through it many years past. Mona Lou was my first cousin, her Mother was my favorite aunt so is it any wonder Pat was so special!!

I was one of the students in Miss Patterson's PE class at Wakefield Jr. High 1953 - 55 era.
Ms. Patterson was a most memorable person as evidenced by the fact that she is the only PE teacher from that time whose name I can recall. It's sad that such a marvelous gal has left us so soon.

Pat was my PE teacher at Palo Verde High. When I graduated and became a member of Chi Omega, we became sorority sisters. It was fun to get to know her as a sister. Rest in peace.

When I first joined the "Dorado Swingers" Pat gave me such a warm, friendly welcome. I loved her droll sense of humor. I will miss her.

I'm very sad to hear of the passing of my absolute favorite teacher of all time. I played volleyball for Pat at Palo Verde and assisted her in her office during my senior year, 1971. Pat was a strong, determined woman who I admired greatly. She would yell at me when I went to the net to fist the ball. Years later she laughed and apologized, saying they now teach that move. My thoughts are with Ms Lackie, Pat's family and friends. I wish I could give her one more hug! Love and hugs Pat!
