Antonino Baticados "Tony" ZUBIETA

ZUBIETA, Antonino "Tony" Baticados Tony Zubieta passed away on July 3, 2017 at the age of 77. He arrived in the United States from the Philippines in 1967 on a St. Mary's Hospital's exchange program. His late wife, Lucia "Lucy" soon followed in 1968. In 2004, Tony retired honorably from the United States Army Reserves, 20 years and as a Major in Medical Services Corp. Last year, Tony retired from El Rio Health with 30 years of service as the Laboratory Manager/Assistant Operations Director and was recently remarried. For the past 23 years, he resided in Oro Valley. Tony enjoyed his last remaining years travelling around the world. Tony leaves behind his loving wife, Majella Jardeleza Celis, his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jennifer, his wonderful grandsons, Lucian and Xander. Tony will be dearly missed by his brothers and sisters including the many cousins, nieces and nephews. The families of Zubieta, Sollesta, Baticados and Jardeleza will hold his memory in their prayers. The Zubieta family wishes to thank the Northwest Hospital staff and Casa De La Luz for the compassionate care.
