WALLACE, Mary-Jean 60, of Oracle, AZ passed away on June 28, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steven Wallace; son, Brett (Lauren) Wallace, Tampa Bay, FL; daughter, Emily (David) Ruiz, Flagstaff, AZ; her four grandchildren, Kellon and Evan Wallace, Jameson and Zoe Ruiz, who she dearly loved. She is also survived by her brother, Brad (Angelika) Kennedy, Florida. Mary-Jean graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Radio and Television. She went on to have a successful career in Advertising. Services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., at St Paul's Episcopal Church in Tombstone, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to St Paul's Episcopal Church, Tombstone, AZ. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.

My heart lies on the ground, my dear friend. I was so stunned to hear the news, that I still can't believe it. Thank you for your support when I served on the School Board (I've kept your letters and cards), for sharing photos of your gorgeous grandchildren and Emily's wedding, the passing of your Dad and Mom, all the shared ranching and rodeo stories, your support when my family members passed. But most of all, thanks for our multi-hour-long phone calls, discussions of "Dancing With the Stars" and "Nashville," and all the laughs. Loved the shared lunches in Catalina. I'm so proud to have you as my best friend. I so miss you. Saddle up and ride your beloved hills of Tombstone. Keep the fire stoked, the coffee hot, and the lantern lit. I'll be along with new cowboy poems, and jokes for you and your Dad. Steve, Emily, and Brett, please accept my deepest condolences. Your Mom was so proud of you kids and spoke daily of her grandchildren, whom she adored. Blessings.
