Thelma Busch Pankonin

Thelma Busch Pankonin born in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 26, 1931. Passed away April 8, 2011 in Tucson. She worked at the YWCA of Oahu, Bank of Hawaii, Straub Clinic and Hospital and Kapiolani Maternity Hospital. She was an active volunteer all of her adult life, being a Girl Scout leader for seven years, Y-Teen Advisor, Sunday School Teacher and President of Straub Hospital Auxiliary for five years. She was preceded in death by her twin daughters, Tisha Hookano and Patricia Cooper and her husband, William Pankonin. She is survived by her son, Daniel Pimentel; stepdaughters, Linda Gordon, Kathy Corman and Judy Lins; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Private Inurnment of cremated remains at Vista de la Montana United Methodist Memorial Garden. Donations can be made to the Vista de la Montana United Methodist Church Memorial garden, 3001 E.
