June MOORE Obituary

MOORE, June age 84, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2017, at home surrounded by family.  June is survived by her husband of 66 years Leon; her children, Steven (Judy), David (Donna) and Susan (Patrick); her grandchildren, Karen (Pete), Steven (Lynn), Zack (Julie), David (Vanessa), Callie (Ian), Jillian (Atly), Ariana (Jacub), Rebecca (Rhett) Brianna (Mike), Ryan and Bethany; her great-grandchildren, Quinn, Elliot, Ella, Brayden, Daisy, Charlee, Harrison and Catie.  She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel and granddaughter Caitlyn.  June was born on June 4, 1933 in Hartman, Arkansas, to parents Hardy and Alma Morris. She graduated from University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona with a degree in Home Economics.  She worked for the state of Arizona as a DES worker until she retired in 1992.  June was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in in her church for the majority of her life. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind and compassionate person.  She will be missed by all.  A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at Saguaro Christian Church at 8302 E. Broadway Blvd.  Tucson, AZ  85710. All are welcome to attend and Celebrate June's Life. The family would like to thank TMC Hospice and especially Susan and Cydney and ComForCare and especially Crystal and Susan for their help and compassion. Flowers and donations can be sent to Saguaro Christian Church. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.
