I was in her biology and advanced biology classes at Rincon. She always presented herself as a gracious, intelligent, capable woman, very willing and eager to teach every student.
She will always be fondly remembered and appreciated.

Mary Ann Calmes was my biology teacher at Rincon High School. She was the reason I became a high school biology teacher myself...in fact, we were both hired by our Principal, Hank Slagle. Thank you so much, Mary, for touching and defining my life. May you Rest In Peace. You will be missed.

Mrs.Calmes was my absolute favorite teacher at Rincon. Have recalled my year in her Biology class many times over the years. She was a lovely and gracious lady; a true class act. May she Rest in Peace.

My Dear Family, I send my condolences to you on the loss of your loved one, it is amazing that she lived such a long beautiful life, not many of us will have that opportunity, and the changes that she has seen during her life time must have been remarkable. May the God of all comfort be with you at this time of sorrow.(Psalms 90:10)
