BAILEY, Robert Griffith, Jr. 1940 – 2017 Robert "Bob" Bailey was born on November 9, 1940 in Berkeley, CA and passed peacefully at home in Tucson, AZ on July 18th. He graduated from UC Berkeley School of Architecture in 1967, working in San Francisco before moving to Tucson where he was a practicing architect for 38 years. Bob was passionate about his adobe home and garden, his fur children, historic preservation in the Armory Park Neighborhood, travel, and moments shared with family and friends. Bob is survived by his beloved spouse, Steve Grede; his stepdaughters, Jessie and Phoebe Bailey Lett; his sister, Marilee Bailey and spouse, Tamara Lett; brother, Floyd Bailey and sister, Sally Moorman and so many who he loved and will miss him dearly. They would like to express their deepest gratitude to those who gathered around in his final weeks to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support. A Celebration of Life will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Sea of Glass Center for the Arts, 332 E. 7th St., Tucson, AZ.
