Lillian DE ELIAS

DE ELIAS, Lillian Amavizca 83, passed on to be with our Lord July 12, 2017 in Tucson, AZ after a complicated illness. She was born on July 23, 1933 in Douglas, AZ to Eduardo and Maria Amavizca. Lillian grew up in Douglas, AZ and attended Douglas Schools. She married Roberto C. Elias in 1952 and they were together 58 years until his death in September 2010. They embarked on many adventures from running one of the family cattle ranches in Sonora, Mexico during the 1960's to managing the Flying R Cattle Ranch in Vail, AZ for 32 years. They retired in Mescal, AZ where they both continued to help all their ranching friends with round ups and anything else that was needed. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto C. Elias; parents, Eduardo and Maria Amavizca; sons, Oscar Elias and Luis Armando Galindo and grandson, Armando Galindo Jr. Lillian is survived by her children, Roberto A. (Crystal) Elias; Rolando (Lisa) Elias; Sandra (Doug Dauer) Elias. Her grandchildren, Erika Elias; Ashlei Elias Wilson; Rolando E. Elias; Olivia Elias; Elizabeth Elias; Victoria (Bryan) Calles; Deanna Galindo; Dominic Galindo and numerous great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at Brings Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. There will be a luncheon following the service at the Vail Steak House, 13005 E. Benson Hwy, Vail, AZ at 1:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to Brings Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85710 or a donation to your local Hospice.
