Stanley Edmund Gordon Jr.

Stanley Edmund Gordon, Jr. passed away March 26, 2011 at the age of 84. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Stanley and Harriet Gordon, where he was the eldest of five children: Aurelia, Thomas, Laurette and Helene. Stan was active with the Boy Scouts of America and a talented craftsman, who created the crosses for St. Pius X Catholic Church, where he was a choir member, served as a Eucharistic minister and a liturgy planner. Stan is survived by his wife, Connie; his four children, Lynette, Alicia, Mark and Joseph; his granddaughters, Jennifer, Christine, Jazmine and Grace and his siblings, Thomas and Laurette. He shall be missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo, on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
