Anna Claypool Obituary

Anna Barbara Claypool 87, died of Alzheimer's disease on February 21, 2011. She was born in Ashland, Kentucky on February 8, 1924. Parents Russell and Theresa Renner, moved to Sugar Creek, Ohio 1925 and Anna attended grade school and three years of high school there. Then they moved to North Canton, Ohio in 1941 and she graduated there and attended Kent State University and studied teaching. Anna taught first grade in Canton, Ohio. She married Harry R. Claypool, MD in 1947, and they raised a son, Scott Eric and a daughter, Susan Lee. Survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. she belonged to P.E.O. and Assistance League here in Tucson. She has left a deep cleft in all our lives. Services will be held at St. Albans Episcopal Church on Sabino Canyon Drive at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.
