WONDERFUL MAN AND A GREAT JUDGE---HE CERTAINLY LEFT HIS MARK ON TUCSON -- A TRUE AMERICAN SUCESS STORY

I grew up on S. 3rd Avenue at my grandparent's home and remember many many trips to the Gin Soo Dung Store on the corner of 17th. I knew all of the Gin family and the children, Betty, Harry, and Willy. Many happy memories from a time far more innocent than today. My Uncle Bill Crowell who passed away prior to Harry knew him and the Gin family well also and was good friends with Harry. My deepest condolences to the family... with Aloha from hawaii.

Dear Nancy,
I am very sorry for the loss of your father (my father also passed a couple of weeks ago).
Reading about your father brings back memories of our first couple of years at the UA as roommates (I was the unfocused one scampering from one do-gooder cause to another; you were the studious one with an unshakable drive to become a physician).
Wasn't it your father who always said that success in school depends on 90% work and 10% brains (I've often repeated this to my niece, nephew, and stepson--as you rightly pointed out to me on more than one occasion).
I'm sure as you and your family memorialize your father, as has happened to me as I remember my father, you too will come to see just how much of your father lives in you.
With great affection,
Melissa McCormick

It was such a pleasure growing up across the street from your family. Even as a child I realized your family was special. As an adult I realize what great parents Harry and Bernice had to be to raise such accomplished adults. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I'm deeply saddened by Judge Harry Gin's passing. I was honored to have served on two juries with him and when I was called for a third jury my (now late) husband was dying of cancer. When I stood up to ask to be excused Judge Gin recognized me - you see he married my late husband and I in La Placita gazebo, in fact he signed on the wrong line on the marriage certificate, LOL. He shared in our marriage and he again shared himself when my husband passed and attended his funeral. He was a wonderful man and judge!
My prayers go out to his entire family, may you find solace in the fact he will rest in eternal peace. There's a new angel in heaven watching over you. Blessings to the Gin family.
