My darling daughter Lacey, you remain with me every day through out the day, the first thought when I wake, the last thought before I sleep. You are never forgotten sweet little Lacey Jane. I love you forever! Mama

Nancy....I remember the story so well. Growing up in Tucson, living in Surprise at the time of Lacey's accident, it brought back many memories of driving up and down River Road. Over the years I have read every article and every notice. Today, eleven months and one day after losing my own son, I reread everything with new insight! I have the same questions....surely similar feelings, and still am grief stricken. I don't know when it will be better. Your willingness to speak out, to share your 'walk through grief', to allow others to view your 'head and heart' with each and every step is immensely soothing. That alone gives me hope. Thank you for letting me and so many others know that we can put one foot after the other...and face tomorrow.

Death leaves a pain no one can heal. Love leaves memories no one can steal. May the loving memories of Lacey help your hearts to heal.
