Leland NIBLE Obituary

NIBLE, Leland W. M/Sgt U.S. Air Force Ret. Passed away May 18, 2017. He was born in Colo. Springs, CO September 28, 1938. A few days before his 17th birthday in 1955, he set out to join the Air Force and served his country stateside as well as in the territory of Alaska, Europe and over four years in Asia. His military career spanned the entire period of the Vietnam War from start to ending in 1975. He retired after 20 years and remained in the Tucson area. Later he became a Realtor and specialized in selling new homes. Leland was preceded in death by both parents, William Riley and Dorothy Jeannette Nible. Two brothers, Frank (Karolina) Nible and Paul (Marilyn) Nible and two sisters, Wilma (Orval) Gualtney and Dorothy (Kenneth) Beatty. He is survived by brothers, Joseph (Annette) Nible and Norman (Carolyn) Nible. His wife, Sandra and his children from his previous marriage, sons, William and James Nible and daughter, Sherry (Kevin) Prezporski; grandsons, Brandon (Faith) Prezporski and Matthew Prezporski and granddaughters, Sabrina and Jacqulin Nible, stepsons, Bruce, Robert and daughter, Haley, Brett (Leslie) and his son, Steven and Jonathan Emmons and many nieces and nephews. Leland was put to rest at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana with full Military Honors. He is resting in peace alongside his fellow veterans . We'll always love you.
